Born in Burnley 1966. Studied Art & Sculpture at the University of Central Lancashire. Began working as a professional artist in 1987 with a photorealistic style mostly in pencils.

More recently Stephen has produced a collection of work exploring figurative, landscape and portraiture subjects in oil, pastel and pencil.

'My work is continually developing from the conventional to the more fine art and I find inspiration in many subjects. My intentions are to portray through my work the feelings we all experience on a daily basis.'
