Although Matt works in a variety of medium and subjects, his passions are watercolour paintings and landscape.  Based in Northumberland he has created his unique vision and interpretation of place in exhibitions around the country.  Over the years Matt has developed a style of watercolour painting he call ‘Uberpainting’, working within a self-created set of imposed rules that results in an essence or ideal of the landscape in front of him.
