Bob Crooks is one of Britain's most highly regarded glassmakers. He has become renowned for the high quality innovative and dynamic forms that he has been producing over the last 12 years.
Bob benefitted enormously from working with Ronnie Wilkinson at the Glasshouse in London in 1987/87 during a year out from his degree course at West Surrey College of Art & Design. He took the very bold step of setting up his own business in Newent, Glos. in 1990 relatively soon after graduating.
He moved to Devon in 2002 where he converted farm buildings into a state of the art workshop with the devoted support from his partner Sarah Edwards.
Bob Crooks uses assistants because every glass blower has to, but from conception to finished object he is totally involved - each piece is designed, handmade, finished and finally signed by Bob.
