Annalu was born in San. Dona di Piave, Venice in 1976 and studied at the Venice Academy of Fine Arts. Her work is exhibited widely in Italy and she has been involved in many solo and group exhibitions around the country. Her art is sculptural and intricately formed using mediums such as cement and resin.

“I use simple materials (leaves, roots, feathers.) or others which are present in the contemporary time (resin glass, cement, zinc.) The resin glass it's a hard material to work with and to control; it is as unstable at the beginning as much as it is resistant.”  

“I adore tales and the mythology's world: but mine would be a dynamic story of myth which brings to light an unexpected vision where the mysterious side get the upper end.”
