Born in Southsea in 1960 Aldo now lives in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France.

Beginning his career as a freelance illustrator his work appeared in and on the front covers of numerous magazines including the Sunday Times Culture Magazine, TV Times and Punch.

Aldo is now a recognised and successful figurative and portrait artist, awards include Arc Salon finalist 2004 and 2006, NSE Exhibition first prize 2003, Artist International first prize 2002. Magazine articles include Artists International issue numbers 22, the front cover and in issue 27 a five page feature. He has also appeared in Artists & Illustrators June/July 2003 edition, and has more recently been featured in their May 2009 issue.

Portrait commissions include Gordon Brown, Miss Pears and Lady Laura Paul and from the golfing world Ernie Els, Peter Alliss and Paul Casey. Please contact Linda for more information.
